The Suga Project Foundation
Brand / Graphic Designer
2019 - 2022
In 2019 I had a brand & graphic design role with The Suga Project Foundation, a small but impactful nonprofit focused on empowering women affected by type 2 diabetes. As the organization’s sole designer, I was responsible for developing its complete brand identity and visual presence.
Key contributions included:
Designing the logo, brand assets, and visual guidelines to establish a cohesive brand identity.
Building and maintaining the website, ensuring accessibility and clarity of mission.
Creating social media graphics, ads, and marketing materials to grow awareness and engagement.
Designing event and campaign collateral that connected the community to the foundation’s mission.
This experience was pivotal in my career—it taught me how to translate a mission-driven story into a powerful visual identity. The Suga Project existed to change the way women live with type 2 diabetes: reducing preventable complications, inspiring empowerment, and fostering long, healthy lives. Contributing to that vision through design remains one of my most meaningful early achievements.
